The Advanced Helicopter SAR syllabus is performance oriented training conducted for high risk environments. It covers all aspects of the Basic Class Helicopter Rescue SAR Course but incorporates advanced skills and concepts to operate in challenging maritime, night, mountain, high-rise and/or swift-water work environments.
The Advanced Mission Training Course involves specialized technical skill sets and extensive SAR flight proficiency scenarios.
In addition to rescue Hoist Training, the Option 2 Advanced Mission Helicopter Rescue Course may include any of the following mission selections:
