Our targeted helicopter training programs are designed to provide personnel from Search and Rescue (SAR), military, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), fire departments, law enforcement agencies, Oil/Gas/Energy operations and other emergency services a curricula that ultimately address and/or solves the core challenges of safety, standardization, budget and customer satisfaction.
Format
Priority 1 Air Rescue's Helicopter Rescue/Special Operations training is offered in four different course formats to meet the meet our customer's specific training needs.
Option 1: Basic Helicopter Rescue Program
Option 2: Advanced Mission Helicopter Rescue Program
Option 3: Helicopter Special Operations Program
Option 4: Custom Course
Training syllabuses are designed to be modular, adaptable and exportable to train and certify personnel working in, or around any helicopter rescue or special helicopter operation. Priority 1 Air Rescue graduates will complete our training programs with an improved sense of safety and standardization while managers and administrators can apply our teachings to implement cost effective measures for improving safety programs, continued training, quality assurance (QA), and many others.
Human External Cargo (HEC) is a specific high risk helicopter/rescue mission that is accomplished by many agencies and helicopter operators. Priority 1 Air Rescue takes great pride in providing training that meets the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Transport Canada (TC) requirements for Human External Cargo (HEC) training to a large number of these agencies. In doing so, we have improved their safety, interoperability, and standardization by teaching proven tactics and knowledge which our own existing Search and Rescue (SAR) operations depend on and use effectively on a daily basis.
Helicopter training programs are a comprehensive culmination of effective classroom instruction and intensive hands-on field operations with the experience and knowledge of certified Heli-Tech aircrew instructors whom provide safe and effective direction and leadership.
All helicopter operations, specialized rescue, air medical, and custom training curricula place an emphasis on safety, standardization, strong didactical foundations, practical skills, emergency procedures and critical thinking. Additionally, we show how safe and effective accomplishment of prescribed tasks ultimately result in improved customer satisfaction, whether that be critically ill or injured patients, supervisors, surrounding communities and many more.
The training syllabus also includes ground school, static aircraft, demonstration and flight training, practice simulations and challenge scenarios.
Certification
A Certificate will be issued to students who successfully complete the required program performance standards. On successful completion, students will received certification to FAA (FARS), JAR-OPS, and Transport Canada (CARS) training.
