Many customers are multi-mission tasked and as a result require relevant and customized training courses that hit upon their specific missions they may accomplish on a daily basis. Priority 1 Air Rescue's training courses are designed and flexible whereby each training course can be customized specific to the needs of the customer. Some customers' primary missions include SAR, Fire Suppression and Medevac; for these customer we recommend a combination of rescue hoist training, Bambi bucket or belly tank fire suppression training combined with aviation physiology/aviation medical training. For most law enforcement agencies with missions such as SAR, Marijuana eradication and SWAT Insertion; P1AR would recommend a customize course to include rescue hoist training, fast rope, rappel and short haul training.

Each Custom Training Course is individually designed to meet specific needs and mission requirements by integrating additional training modules into their selected course syllabus. P1AR works directly with the customer to ensure training encompasses all of the unit's mission objectives.

Employing additional capabilities such as helicopter rappelling or ground technical rescue may increase mission success by offering crews more flexibility and versatility to deal with very diverse and challenging SAR emergency responses. These additional capabilities may also be critical in the event of an operational restriction or equipment failure.

Many Law Enforcement agencies are involved in fire suppression which requires high risk-low hover work over lakes, ponds, rivers while filling up tanks. Flight safety can be greatly increased by having obtained Helicopter Under Water Egress Training (HUET) for aerial firefighting as a consequence, we strongly recommend that pilots engaged in fire suppression work also seriously consider Helicopter Underwater Egress Training.

Whether conducting rescue hoist training, rappel, fast rope, fire suppression or a combination of these; training is always refocused to emergency response and rescue. All of our courses culminate with SAR scenarios and require each student to use the objectives they learned in the training course to accomplish the complex SAR exercises.
