Over the years, we’ve worked directly with our manufacturer to refine the stitching, seams and construction for the demands of helicopter hoist operations in the most austere environments.

We chose leather for a reason. It is exceptionally durable, conforms and improves with use, and stands up to repeated contact with the hoist cable and its lubricants. Unlike many textile alternatives, it also minimizes the introduction of synthetic fibers into the cable assembly. On a system where a remarkably small cable represents one of the most critical single points of failure, we'll take every additional margin of protection we can get.
